Have You Ever Flown Across The Sky?- Adult Cinema

The sophomore album, ‘Hot and Cold’ from Adult Cinema shuffles its way to center stage with the mediocre attempt at classic rock that is ‘Have You Ever Flown Across The Sky?.’ Not only is the title obnoxiously long, the tune itself is three minutes and 20 seconds of plain and insufferable dad-rock. 
 
You would think that the first song on the album is rather crucial to pulling in an audience, however with Mike Weston being as arrogant as he is, I doubt the audience crossed his mind. The song in question is nothing short of absolute drivel or a shoddy attempt at psychedelia and after listening to it I simply cannot imagine what would possess someone to listen to the rest of the album. 
 
Even the title of the album is tedious and bland, ‘Hot and Cold?’ Come on man, even my gran could come up with something more creative than that. Seriously though if you want to listen to some quality prog-rock look somewhere else because you won’t find it here. Honestly, the only thing flying across the sky after this album will be me, when I throw myself out of the window instead of listening to this self-indulgent embarrassment.
